Natural timber and grading
Grading describes appearance rather than quality. Natural timber varies from board to board, so differences in tone, grain, knots, filler, sapwood and surface texture should be expected.

These floors must be fully bonded to a flat, dry and suitably prepared subfloor. Herringbone requires accurate setting out, and underfloor heating must be commissioned and operated correctly, with the floor temperature kept within the specified limit.
