Duralay Silentfloor Gold is part of the Timbermate Range of superior underlays perfectly designed for the installation of engineered wood flooring and laminate flooring .
Timbermate Silentfloor Gold is Duralays most effective noise reduction underlay, reducing in-room noise by up to 30% and contains a Vapourstop barrier to help prevent moisture.
- Independently tested to produce a sound reduction rating of 53 SONE
- 4.20mm gauge high density resilient rubber underlay
- 0.33 Tog rating
- 24db sound insulation
- Vapourstop barrier that helps prevent moisture
- High density sponge material
- Prevents the overstraining of wood and laminate boards
- Suitable for use on most subfloor types including screed and suspended timber floors
- Provides an excellent sub-floor masking minor surface imperfections
- Simple, quick and easy to install
- It’s recommended for the joints to be taped together, we recommend our vapour tape.

Timbermate Excel is a 3.60mm gauge high density resilient rubber underlay; while the premium product in the Timbermate range, Silentfloor Gold is a 4.2mm gauge high density resilient rubber underlay, with the lowest Sone rating in the range.
