Bona Hard Wax Oil combines the natural beauty of a traditional oiled finish with the durability of a modern hardwearing surface. Manufactured from modified vegetable oils and waxes, it penetrates into the timber while creating a water and dirt-repellent finish that is easy to maintain and simple to spot repair if damaged.
Suitable for both solid and engineered wood flooring, Bona Hard Wax Oil is compatible with underfloor heating and helps reduce the risk of side bonding. It produces a rich, natural appearance that enhances the character and grain of the timber while providing long-lasting protection.
For a coloured finish, Bona Hard Wax Oil can also be applied over Bona Craft Oil 2K, creating a complete coloured hard wax oil system.

Professional Advice
For the best durability, apply two thin coats. Thin coats cure more evenly than one heavy application and provide a harder, longer-lasting finish.
Always carry out a representative test area first, particularly on exotic timbers, previously treated floors or where the product will be used over a coloured base coat.

Bona Hard Wax Oil can be used as the protective topcoat over Bona Craft Oil 2K. This combines the selected Craft Oil colour with the natural appearance, repairability and protective surface of a traditional hard wax oil finish.

- Ensure the timber is clean, dry and free from dust, wax, polish and contamination before application.
- Apply thin, even coats and avoid heavy deposits.
