Recommended 2 coats Application SURFACE PREPARATION Wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (moisture content max. 18%).Osmo Polyx®-Oil Original is ready to use. Do not thin. Stir well using a flat stirring stick or spatula before use. Clean old microporous stains thoroughly. Old paints and lacquers must be completely removed. As a general rule, wear a dust mask during sanding works. Fill small cracks, larger joints or holes in wood (with Osmo Wood Filler).Sand wood surfaces carefully. Begin with coarse sandpaper – final sanding work for flooring P120-150, for furniture P180-240. Before oiling the surface, remove sanding dust with a broom or vacuum. The finished surface is influenced by several factors, including the condition of the wood. Therefore, a trial application is always required, especially for unfamiliar surfaces. METHOD OF APPLICATION With Osmo Flat Brush, Floor Brush, Oil Finish Applicator Fleece (Hand Pad Holder) or Osmo Microfibre Roller, apply thinly along the wood grain and spread well. Allow to dry for approx. 8-10 hours under good ventilation. After drying, quickly apply a second coat also thinly. After 2-3 weeks, the surface is fully cured. When renovating or recoating an already oiled surface, one coat applied to the clean and dry surface is usually sufficient. NOTE Oils enhance the natural tone of wood (permanent wet effect). Applying the product too generously and insufficient ventilation lead to delays in drying. For dark and extractive-rich hardwoods (e.g. Wenge, Merbau, Jatoba etc.), we recommend using Osmo Wood Wax Finish Clear Extra Thin. A trial application is recommended. For cork surfaces, due to their high absorbency please ensure that the wood finish is applied especially thinly. On cork, longer drying times are to be taken into consideration (at least 24 hours).Caution: Apply max. one coat thinly to cabinet interiors and drawers with a cloth. If a higher gloss level is desired use Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner very thinly and polish when dry. Avoid using Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner on surfaces that have not dried and cured properly. Always trial apply first. Using general or multi-purpose cleaners will increase the frequency of maintenance and recoating. Allow finish to fully cure before heavy usage. CARE Regular Cleaning: Wood surfaces treated with Polyx®-Oil are highly repellent and easy to maintain. Remove debris with the Osmo green Dust-Mop from the Mop Cleaning Kit for Floors, or use a broom or a vacuum cleaner.Damp mop floors using diluted Osmo Wash and Care and the Osmo Micro-Mop Plush from the Mop Cleaning Kit for Floors. Avoid saturating the surface with water. For the convenient cleaning of floors use Osmo Spray-Mop. For furniture or small areas, use Osmo Spray Cleaner and Osmo Easy Pads. Occasional Maintenance: For spot cleaning stubborn scuff marks, or occasionally refreshing satin or gloss Polyx-Oils use Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner. Alternatively, Osmo Maintenance Oils can be used to occasionally refresh most Polyx Oil sheen levels, including matt. Ensure surfaces are appropriately cleaned before thinly applying Osmo Maintenance Oils. Recoating: Simply re-apply one coat onto the appropriately cleaned and dried surface when signs of wear become visible.

Damp mopping using diluted Osmo Wash and Care and the Micro-Mop plush from the Osmo Mop Cleaning Kit for Floors. Alternatively use the convenient Osmo Spray-Mop. Occasional Maintenance: If the oiled surface remains light in colour yet there is a reduction in water repellency, refresh the surface with Osmo Maintenance Oil 3079 Clear Matt. Before using Osmo Maintenance Oil 3079, damp clean the surface using diluted Osmo Wash and Care, or alternatively Osmo Spray cleaner and allow to fully dry. For small areas Osmo Maintenance Oil 3079 can be applied thinly with a lint free cloth or white pad. Remove excess product. Allow for good ventilation while drying. A small trial is highly recommended first. Recoating: When slight signs of wear become visible, and providing the surface does not become completely bare, simply re-apply one thin coat onto the clean and dry surface. Avoid applying Polyx®-Oil Effect Raw to bare wood surfaces that have become dirty. Bare, dirty surfaces could appear more rich and dark following the application of the oil finish. A small trial is highly recommended first.

Osmo Door Oil 1L
Osmo Door Oil is ideal for veneered doors. The unique formulation penetrates the wood surface which remains microporous and whilst the finish will not crack, peel, flake or blister. The surface also becomes healthy and elastic, and the wood's fibres are prevented from becoming dry and brittle over time as well as shrinking and swelling. Application SURFACE PREPARATION Wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (moisture content max. 18%). Osmo Door-Oil is ready to use. Do not thin. Shake well before use. For solid doors, clean old microporous stains thoroughly. Old paints, varnishes and lacquers must be completely removed. If renovating veneered doors, always check with the door manufacture that renovation is possible. Always wear a dust mask while sanding. Fill small cracks, larger joints or holes in wood (with Osmo Wood Filler). Sand wood surfaces carefully. Begin with coarse sandpaper – final sanding P120-150 for solid wood doors. Before oiling the surface, remove sanding dust with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner. If possible, please apply the first coat to all sides before installation. METHOD OF APPLICATION With Osmo Flat Brush or Osmo Microfibre Roller, apply thinly and evenly to the clean and dry wood along the wood grain and spread well. If applying the Door-Oil 3033 Raw, remove excess white pigment before allowing the surface to dry. Allow for good ventilation while drying. After drying, apply a second coat – also thinly. NOTE Applying the product too generously and insufficient ventilation lead to delays in drying time. Oils enhance the natural tone of wood (clear Door-Oil 3060 with permanent wetlook-effect). Osmo Door-Oil 3033 Raw counteracts exactly this effect and protects lighter coloured wood almost invisibly. The original look of the wood can be kept – no emphasising of the natural colour of the wood (no wetlook-effect). On dark/reddish wood species, Osmo Door-Oil 3033 Raw can be seen as a faintly white surface. Over application of Osmo Door-Oil 3033 Raw can also result in a faintly white surface. A trial application is recommended. Using general or multi-purpose cleaners will increase the frequency of maintenance and recoating. Allow finish to fully cure before heavy usage. CARE Regular Cleaning: Dust mopping. Damp mopping using Osmo Spray-Cleaner. Occasional Maintenance: For the Intensive cleaning of stubborn scuff marks, and refreshing the sheen on Osmo Door Oil 3060 clear satin, use clear Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner. Avoid using Liquid Wax Cleaner over Osmo Door-Oil 3033 Raw matt as it will appear more shiny. Recoating: Simply re-apply one coat onto the clean and dry surface when slight signs of wear become visible.
