The Bona Diamond PCD Segments are genuine Bona grinding segments designed for use with the Bona Concrete Disc for FlexiSand. They are intended for the preparation of suitable concrete surfaces and the removal of weak surface laitance or sinter layers before primers, damp-proof membranes, smoothing compounds or flooring systems are applied.

Unlike the more aggressive PCD Split and PCD Maxi segments, the Diamond Segments are primarily used to grind and prepare the concrete itself rather than remove heavy coatings or thick adhesive residues.

Each pack contains four genuine Bona Diamond Segments, providing one complete matching set for the Bona Concrete Disc.

Important: Bona Concrete Disc Required

The Bona Diamond Segments are supplied as a complete four-piece set and are designed for use with the Bona Concrete Disc for FlexiSand, which is sold separately.

Fit one complete set of four matching segments to the grinding plate. Different segment types should not be mixed on the same disc.

Choosing the Correct Segment

Choose the Diamond Segments when the concrete surface itself requires grinding, opening or removal of laitance and sinter layers.

For polyurethane, paint or thinner adhesive residues, use the Bona PCD Split Segments. For thick adhesive, bitumen, epoxy or carpet foam, use the more aggressive Bona PCD Maxi Segments.

Professional Use and Safety

Before grinding, identify the substrate and check that mechanical preparation is suitable. Test the segments in a small area and regularly inspect the grinding plate and magnetic mounting points during use.

Connect the FlexiSand to suitable professional dust extraction and wear appropriate respiratory, eye, hearing and hand protection. Do not grind wet surfaces or unidentified older coatings and residues.
