Osmo UV-Protection-Oil Extra is a satin, clear finish for exterior. It is based on natural oils, is microporous, and does not crack, flake, peel or blister. When used as a final finish after staining wood, Osmo UV-Protection-Oil Extra prolongs the renovation time significantly. As a stand alone finish, with two coats, it prolongs the greying process on vertical surfaces by UV-Protection factor 12 in comparison to untreated wood. The finish contains active ingredients which protect it from mould, algae and fungal attack. Easy to renew, no sanding or primer necessary. Easy to apply, will not dry during application.

Please Note: Colours were developed to appear in harmony with their respective wood species e.g. 426 Larch for Larch wood projects. The wood’s natural colour and character will influence the final result. Plus, the darker the colour, the stronger the UV-resistance. Please always trial apply! All exterior woods grey into a patina colour over time, however UV-Protection Oil Tints have been developed to maintain the wood's natural colour with the use of pigments to optimally match the wood's natural characteristics. Ideal for windows, doors, cladding, fencing and other vertically structured joinery (not recommended for flat surfaces such as decking). Natural oil-based and microporous finish does not crack, flake, peel or blister. Water and dirt resistant, moisture regulating and reduces wood swelling and shrinkage. Osmo 425 Oak UV Protection Oil gives optimal protection from the sun, similar to Osmo 420 but it improves the UV resistance further by also having a small amount of Oak pigment. The oak pigment will darken the wood slightly and accentuate the wood grain but we recommend ALWAYS do a test before application, sample sachet available. For exterior use only. UV-Protection-Oil Tints is ready to use. Do not thin. Stir well using a flat stirring stick or spatula before use. Ideally, surfaces are sanded no finer than a P120 grit grade of sand paper. Sanding to finer grades will reduce required absorbency.If possible, and if the wood is absorbent, please apply first coat to all sides before installation. Fresh wood containing natural wood ingredients /extractives (eg: Cedar, Teak, Mahogany or Iroko) are often less absorbent and need to weather off first before applying the product. Please refer to website ‘Suitability’ section for more details. Weathering helps ingredient rich wood become more absorbent and the wood finish adheres optimally. For renovation works, clean old microporous stains thoroughly – if necessary sand lightly. Clean and restore already greyed or weathered wood at the same time with Osmo Wood Reviver Power-Gel. Old paints and lacquers must be completely removed. As a general rule, wear a dust mask during sanding works. To maintain absorbency, avoid sanding surfaces finer than a P120 grit. Therefore, a trial application is always required, especially for unfamiliar surfaces. Soft wood species like Pine or Spruce are more prone to blue stain, rot and insects. If desired, pre-treat these soft woods if possible on all sides with Osmo WR Base Coat. APPLICATION With Osmo Flat Brush or Osmo Microfibre Roller, apply thinly along the wood grain and spread well.Allow to dry for approx. 12 hours under good ventilation.Then apply the second coat.Alternatively the second coat can also be carried out with UV-Protection-Oil Extra Clear.When recoating colour treated surfaces, or for renovation works, one coat applied to the clean and dry surface is usually sufficient.

Osmo Wash and Care
Osmo Wash and Care cleaner is a specially formulated wood cleaner suitable for cleaning and maintaining oil and wax finishes. Its pH balanced formula quickly and effectively cleans wooden flooring, furniture, doors, wall and ceiling panels to leave a streak free finish. Application SURFACE PREPARATION To remove loose debris, we recommend using Osmo Dust-Mop, a conventional vacuum cleaner or broom. METHOD OF APPLICATION Manual: Wash and Care is ideally used with Osmo Micro-Mop Plush. Add Osmo Wash and Care to water. Clean the floor with a damp (not wet) mop and wipe dry immediately. When applied regularly, the surface becomes resistant to dirt and wear. Machine: Spread the diluted Wash and Care solution with a pump sprayer. Loosen dirt with a single disc machine, e.g. Osmo FloorXcenter, and a white pad.Immediately, mop away or remove with a round Osmo Microfibre Pad for machines. NOTE To specifically remove especially tough stains and to occasionally, intensively refresh waxed or oiled floors, we recommend using our tried and trusted Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner, which is based on natural plant oils and waxes (undiluted application with Osmo Active Fibre Cloth).For a complete renovation, we recommend an Osmo Polyx®-Oil.

Osmo Wood Reviver Power Gel is a gelatinous cleaner for refreshing and cleaning greyed wood in outdoor areas. A non-drip product that penetrates the wood deeply and remove the grey patina to refresh wood and restore the natural characteristics so the fresh, warm tone is visible again. It's easy to apply and reacts in as little as 20 minutes, it's also odourless and biodegradable. Key Features • Non-drip • Restores the natural characteristic of weathered wood • Odourless Application SURFACE PREPARATION Remove debris from greyed wood with a stiff brush or broom; afterwards dampen with water.Wood Reviver Power-Gel is ready to use. Do not thin.Perform a trial application before treating wood with Wood Reviver Power-Gel. METHOD OF APPLICATION Generously apply the gel along the wood grain. After approx. 20 minutes reaction time, clean surface with Osmo Decking Cleaning Brush and rinse with plenty of water. After drying for approx 2-3 days in clement weather conditions, protect the newly refreshed wood with a wood finish (e.g. for decks – Osmo Natural Oil Woodstain or Osmo Decking-Oils). Check the moisture content of the wood is less than 20% RM prior to applying an Osmo wood finish.For machine processing on decking, we recommend using the Osmo Wood Orbiter. NOTE Osmo Wood Reviver Gel is most effective when applied onto bare, untreated timber. Existing treatments may block the revival process – always trial apply first. Protect/cover sensitive surfaces such as: plants, metallic components ( eg aluminium), sensitive stones and renders. After treatment the dried wood may appear quite light in colour.
