Compatible Fasteners

606 Series Divergent Staples

The narrow-crown staple legs diverge as they enter the timber, increasing mechanical hold. They are particularly well suited to securing hardboard, plywood and carpet gripper during subfloor preparation.

18G Brad Nails

Brads provide a discreet single-shank fixing for suitable beading, trim and finishing tasks. They should not be treated as interchangeable with staples: select the correct fastener for the material, required holding strength and manufacturer’s application guidance.

20V Battery System

Each supplied lithium-ion battery is rated at 20V, 2.0Ah and 40Wh. A built-in three-LED charge indicator illuminates blue to provide a quick visual check of the remaining battery level. The battery also features high-strength sliding slots and an anti-slip rubber base for secure handling on site.

The supplied fast charger and second battery help reduce interruptions during professional use. One battery can be kept ready while the other is fitted to the tool or charging. Allow the batteries and charger to cool where necessary and follow the charging, storage and temperature guidance supplied with the kit.

Operating Guide

1. Check that the work area and timber substrate are suitable for mechanical fixing and free from concealed pipes, cables and other services.
2. Choose the correct 606 Series staple or compatible 18G brad length for the material and substrate.
3. Remove the battery before loading the magazine or carrying out any adjustment.
4. Load the fasteners in the correct orientation in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
5. Fit a charged battery securely and switch the tool on.
6. Hold the tool square to the surface and position the nose precisely over the fixing point.
7. Keep hands clear of the nose and magazine, then operate the safety and trigger as directed in the supplied instructions.
8. Allow the firing cycle to finish before lifting or repositioning the tool.
9. Check that each fixing is seated correctly without damaging the face material.
10. Switch off and remove the battery before reloading, clearing a jam, changing fastener type, cleaning, transporting or storing the tool.
