Osmo Wash and Care cleaner is a specially formulated wood cleaner suitable for cleaning and maintaining oil and wax finishes. Its pH balanced formula quickly and effectively cleans wooden flooring, furniture, doors, wall and ceiling panels to leave a streak free finish.

Application

SURFACE PREPARATION

To remove loose debris, we recommend using Osmo Dust-Mop, a conventional vacuum cleaner or broom.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Manual: Wash and Care is ideally used with Osmo Micro-Mop Plush. Add Osmo Wash and Care to water. Clean the floor with a damp (not wet) mop and wipe dry immediately. When applied regularly, the surface becomes resistant to dirt and wear.

Machine: Spread the diluted Wash and Care solution with a pump sprayer. Loosen dirt with a single disc machine, e.g. Osmo FloorXcenter, and a white pad.
Immediately, mop away or remove with a round Osmo Microfibre Pad for machines.

NOTE

To specifically remove especially tough stains and to occasionally, intensively refresh waxed or oiled floors, we recommend using our tried and trusted Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner, which is based on natural plant oils and waxes (undiluted application with Osmo Active Fibre Cloth).
For a complete renovation, we recommend an Osmo Polyx®-Oil.

1. What is Osmo Wash and Care?

Osmo Wash and Care is a concentrated, biodegradable cleaning solution specifically formulated for the regular maintenance of wooden and cork floors treated with Osmo Polyx®-Oil. It is also suitable for cleaning varnished, stone, plastic, PVC, and other water-resistant surfaces. The solution effectively removes everyday dirt and grime while moisturizing the wood to maintain its natural freshness.

2. How do I use Osmo Wash and Care?

Preparation: Before application, remove loose debris using a vacuum cleaner, broom, or the Osmo Dust-Mop.
Manual Cleaning: Dilute approximately 15 ml of Wash and Care per 2 liters of water. Using a damp (not wet) mop, such as the Osmo Micro-Mop Plush, clean the floor and wipe dry immediately. Regular use enhances the surface's resistance to dirt and wear.
Machine Cleaning: For larger areas or higher levels of contamination, the concentration can be increased to a mixing ratio of 1:1. Spread the diluted solution with a pump sprayer, loosen dirt with a single-disc machine (e.g., Osmo FloorXcenter) equipped with a white pad, and immediately remove the residue with a mop or Osmo Microfibre Pad.

3. Can Osmo Wash and Care be used on surfaces other than wood?

Yes, Osmo Wash and Care is suitable for various water-resistant surfaces, including varnished floors, stone, plastic, PVC, and tiled floors. Its gentle formulation makes it versatile for multiple surface types.

4. How often should I use Osmo Wash and Care?

The frequency of use depends on the amount of traffic and soiling the floor experiences. For routine cleaning, use as needed to maintain cleanliness and appearance. Regular use prevents the floor from becoming easily marked and does not leave any residue or film on the surface.

7. How should I store Osmo Wash and Care?

Store the product in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and frost. Ensure the container is tightly closed when not in use to maintain its effectiveness.
