Bostik 3070 Liquid Cork Expansion Joint Filler is a ready-to-use cork perimeter sealant designed for filling expansion joints and movement gaps between wood flooring and other floor finishes.
Made from natural cork granules held within a solvent-free binder, it is supplied in a 500ml foil sausage and applied using a compatible sausage gun. It provides a quick and convenient alternative to traditional cork strips, particularly around irregular edges, hearths, thresholds and floor transitions.

Use masking tape along both sides of the joint before application. This

Preparation
- Ensure the joint and surrounding surfaces are clean and dry.
- Remove all loose dust, debris and contamination.
- Apply masking tape to both sides of the joint for a clean finish.
- Ensure the required expansion gap complies with the flooring manufacturer's instructions.
Application
- Place the 500ml foil sausage into a compatible application gun.
- Cut the sausage carefully and fit a suitable application nozzle.
- Apply Bostik 3070 evenly into the prepared expansion joint.
- Ensure the joint is filled consistently without leaving hidden voids.
- Smooth the surface using a putty knife, filling knife or spatula.
- Remove excess material and carefully lift the masking tape away.
- Clean tools immediately after use with warm, soapy water.
- Allow approximately 24–48 hours before returning the area to normal use.

Important: Bostik 3070 is intended for joints up to approximately 5mm wide. Always maintain the expansion gap specified by the flooring manufacturer. Dried material can only be removed mechanically, so clean tools and surrounding surfaces immediately after application.
