Morrells Professional Hard Wax Repair Stick Set – Assorted Light contains ten carefully selected light wood shades for disguising scratches, chips, dents and other small areas of cosmetic damage. The sticks are suitable for professional repairs to wooden floors, furniture and interior joinery.
Use each colour individually or blend two or more shades to create a closer match to the surrounding timber. The wax is melted into the damaged area with the Battery-Powered Hard Wax Melting Tool, then allowed to cool before being levelled for a neat, discreet finish.
Colour-Matching Advice
Start with the closest base colour and add small amounts of a lighter or darker shade where required. Using more than one colour can help recreate natural variation and grain. Always test the selected shade combination in an inconspicuous area before completing the repair.

How to Use Morrells Hard Wax Repair Sticks
- Clean the damaged area and carefully remove dust, dirt and loose material.
- Select the closest shade, or plan a blend using two or more colours.
- Use a suitable hard wax melting tool to melt small amounts of wax into the defect until it is filled slightly proud of the surrounding surface.
- Allow the wax to cool and harden fully.
- Remove the excess carefully with a suitable levelling scraper, working without damaging the surrounding finish.
- Gently polish or add subtle grain detail where required to help the repair blend with the timber.
Important Information
- Always test the chosen colour or colour blend in an inconspicuous area first.
- The melting tip and molten wax become very hot. Avoid contact, switch the tool off after use and allow it to cool completely before storage.
- Build the repair gradually using small amounts of wax for greater control.
- Wax colour can appear slightly different after cooling and under different lighting.
- These sticks are intended for minor cosmetic repairs and will not correct structural movement or extensive damage.
