The Battery Adapter Pack for the Spotnails 18V Cordless Compressor allows compatible DeWalt 18V XR or Milwaukee M18 slide batteries to power the Spotnails Compact Silent 18V Cordless Air Compressor – 6L.

Select the adapter variant that matches the battery platform you already use. Each pack contains two matching adapters, allowing both of the compressor’s native Makita-format battery bays to accept batteries from the selected platform without purchasing another complete battery and charger system.

The compressor can operate with one battery or two. Use one adapter for single-battery operation, keeping the second ready as a spare, or use both supplied adapters to fit two compatible batteries for extended motor runtime.

Why Are Two Adapters Supplied?

Using one DeWalt or Milwaukee battery: use one adapter and keep the second available as a spare.
Using two DeWalt or Milwaukee batteries: the pack contains both matching adapters required.
Using Makita 18V LXT batteries: no adapter is required.

Fitting two batteries extends the compressor’s available motor runtime but does not increase its maximum pressure. When using two batteries, use two compatible batteries from the same platform with matching capacity and a similar state of charge.

What Is Included?

Please note: Each pack contains two adapters for the same selected battery platform. It is not a mixed DeWalt and Milwaukee pack. The Spotnails compressor, batteries and battery charger are not included.

How to Fit and Use the Adapter

Confirm that the compressor is switched off and positioned securely.
Check that the adapter variant matches the battery platform being used.
Inspect the battery, adapter, contacts and compressor battery bay for damage or contamination.
Slide the adapter into one compressor battery bay until it locks securely.
Fit the compatible battery to the adapter and confirm that it is fully engaged.
If using two batteries, repeat the process using the second matching adapter supplied in the pack and another compatible battery.
Operate the compressor in accordance with its supplied instructions.
After use, switch the compressor off before removing the battery and adapter.
Remove the battery from the adapter and charge it only with the battery manufacturer’s approved charger.

Important Compatibility and Safety Information

Use the adapter only with the specified Spotnails compressor and compatible battery platform.
Do not use DeWalt 12V, Milwaukee M12, older stem-type or otherwise incompatible batteries.
The DeWalt 5Ah Powerstack battery is not compatible with the DeWalt adapter.
Never force a battery or adapter into place.
Do not modify the adapter, compressor or battery contacts.
Do not use damaged, wet, excessively hot or contaminated batteries or adapters.
The adapter is for powering the compressor only; never attempt to charge a battery through it.
Remove the battery from the adapter and use the original approved charger for that battery platform.
Remove batteries before inspection, cleaning, transport or storage.
Stop using the adapter immediately if it becomes unusually hot, loose or damaged.

12. Does fitting two batteries increase compressor pressure?

No. A second battery extends available motor runtime; the compressor’s maximum pressure remains 8 bar.
